Office hours [Tuesday, February 20, all day]

Feb 19, 2007 22:25

Vader was in his office carefully working on a list of everyone to kill who might possibly be responsible for this weekend, then anyone who might have seen him.

The only reason he wasn't hiding under his desk was because he couldn't fit.

The door was very much closed.

[OOC: Door closed, post open. Up early because of work tomorrow, woe.]

soooo over you omg, jamie, dean, office hours, katara, aeryn, rory, some random girl, ethics class

She had time to kill. And maybe a death wish. So a beaming Turtle came knocking on her most favouritest mentor in the world's door.

"Go away."

He didn't think it would work, but it was worth a shot, right?

"Is that any way to greet a mentee, Lord Vader?"

"I don't give a damn how you are doing, so...yes," Vader decided.

"I'm doing quite well, thank you for asking!" Turtle chirped. "You're always so considerate of other people, Lord Vader. Can I please come in? I have a surprise for you."

Vader had a bad feeling about this.

"Fine," he said. "But you may not sit down."

At which point a bouncing Turtle came in, with a plastic of stuff in her hands, and she lightly closed the door behind her. She then turned back to Vader with another bounce. "Is your cape still shredded all to heck?" she asked.

Vader flicked his gloved hand at the fringe-y bits around his shoulder. "Yes."

Turtle grinned, and pulled a small sewing kit from the bag. "I've come to fix it! A good friend of mine back home was a seamstress, and I picked up a bit of the trade, so I thought..." that asking you something so obviously ridiculous would land my butt in detention right quick.

Vader handed the cape over very, very quickly, then tilted his head. "You realize I can read your thoughts?"

Turtle took the cape and then promptly stared at him. "Shut up, you can not."

If you can, how come you haven't given me detention yet, you big jerk? Do I have to kick you?

It was...partially a test.

I gave you one already this week but if you're looking for next week, too, consider it done, he boomed into her head.

"Ack!" Turtle clenched her teeth a little and rubbed at her temples. "Don't do that; it's weird!" But she did believe him now. Man, Vader could read thoughts? This could make this detention thing even easier than before. Wait. Could he read that? What about that? Her head tilted as she pondered just how much Vader would bother listening to and if she just let her thoughts ramble on like this, would he still be in tune to it and it would annoy the bejeebus out of him?

Mwa ha ha. She smirked.

"Anyway, yeah, next week would be great. I could use a week where I can relax a little."

"And the week following it," Vader said, "for making me listen to your internal drivel."
