Even though the Republicans had decided against the straw poll in Iowa this year, the call of Presidential candidates stuffing phallic-shaped fried hot dogs into their mouths was too much for Rory's editors to resist and she was going to be spending the rest of the summer shifting between Iowa and New Hampshire following the tools. Er, highly qualified clown car of idiots.

ANYWAY, since Rory was going to be out of town for the rest of the summer and all of the good children's camps in the DC Metro area had been booked since said children were fetuses, Anakin was heading up to Connecticut to spend time annoying Rory's grandparents and seeing his wife when she was in New Hampshire.
So he was packing up his office for the next six weeks, running his hand periodically over the stubble of hair that was growing back now that Jaina's wedding was over.
