Well, hello, Anakin, have a phone call. Ring, ring.

"Skywalker," Anakin replied. Predictably.

[solo_sword]

"Getting predictable in your old age," Jaina teased. "Happy birthday."

[sith_happened]

"Thank you," Anakin replied. "I suppose since I'm your grandfather I should accept old age jokes from you."

But he was still sulky about it.

[solo_sword]

"Yes. And just remember, you're super young for being a great-grandfather, and that's something, right?" said Jaina. Totally Jaina.

[sith_happened]

Anakin sighed heavily. "You're not that funny, you know."

[solo_sword]

"Yeah, but you love me anyway," Jaina said. "Big plans for the day?"

[sith_happened]

"There's going to be singing and cake," Anakin said. "And then there's going to be wine."

So much wine. No one in this family could sing.

[solo_sword]

"Sounds like a party," she said.

[sith_happened]

"I might even stay up until 11," Anakin confided. "It's thrilling."

[solo_sword]

"Ooh, almost like it's New Year's," Jaina smiled. "Birthdays can be overrated anyway. As long as you enjoy yourself, that's the important part."

[sith_happened]

"I'm turning 30," Anakin said, then added, "again."

[solo_sword]

"I turned 30. It's not that big a deal," she told him. "And if you've been through it before, you know how it goes."

[sith_happened]

Anakin groaned. "I didn't need the reminder that you've turned 30, too."

[solo_sword]

"Definitely don't let that bother you," she said. "There's been a lot of time weirdness here, it doesn't even count."

[sith_happened]

"At least Luke and Leia have slowed down," Anakin said. "You're still only a few months old there."
