Having your father walk into your room in the middle of the night while you are cleaning your vibrator is bad enough, but having him spot the tattoo you've had hidden on your leg for the past two years is immeasurably worse...
Father has an irrational, almost hysterical aversion to tattoos and is now acting like I have ruined both mine and his life. He's using phrases such as 'permanently scarred' and 'mutilated'.
