The sky darkens
And the rain pours down
Flooding my heart
Drowning my soul
Lightening flashes
But for a moment
The darkness disappears
As the thunder rolls
Terror takes ahold of me
Now dark again
I'm weighed down
Rain still falling
Adding to my misery
Sorrow and guilt
Cover I do not take
I stand vunerable
And wait
Perhaps for a better day to come
