Urgent Action Needed on IL HB 1711
Dear Friends,
It is anticipated that the Executive Committee hearing on HB 1711 could come
up very soon so time is of the essence. Please make your calls and send your
faxes and emails today!
Your urgent action is needed in contacting each member of the House Executive
Committee of the IIlinois General Assembly in order to ask that they vote
"YES" on Illinois HB 1711, which will ban horse slaughter in Illinois. You will
note below their position on this measure the last time it was before their
Committee. If the member voted "Yes" please thank them for doing so and
encourage them to stand strong. If they voted "No" please urge them to listen to
the will of Illinois residents and those around the country who overwhelmingly
support an end to horse slaughter and vote to pass this important measure.
Don't let Illinois be the only home to this horrible industry.
