I ordered myself a Mighty Boosh shirt the other day. I saw some cute fan-made ones, like one with an adorable cartoon Hitcher that says "You Love It, You Slags," but I settled on the official neon one.

I also used up the Barnes and Noble gift card that the Golays got me for graduation. I ordered an awesome-sounding sci-fi/fantasy novel called The God Eaters, the Cooking Yourself Thin cookbook, and Russell Brand's Booky Wook.

Oh, and for those of you who missed this silly little thing, puh-lease go check it out. I'm actually fairly serious about this thing. I mean, I am moving to Atlanta, and Williams Street is in Atlanta, and Adult Swim likes to produce weird shit. Hey, I can dream, right?

I've started watching Torchwood.

I first heard about it on fandomsecrets because everyone was freaking out over OMG TEH GHEEEEY!!!11! JACK/IANTO FOREVAAAAHZ!!!1! And because that's all anyone ever talked about, I had no idea about Gwen and Owen.

Owen was my favorite character from the get-go. He's got goofy buttons on his lab coat, for God's sake. But I think he's one of the most complicated. I mean, besides Jack, who we purposely know nothing about.

And that scene in Countrycide? Where he throws Gwen against the tree and gives her the "how long has it been since you screwed all night" speech? Holy shit, hot.

When did I start shipping het? Huh. Oh, well. I'm not complaining.

I'm just not at all interested in Jack and Ianto right now. Well, I do like Ianto; he seems like there's a lot to him. I'm only about halfway through the first season (finished Greeks Bearing Gifts last night), but I think there will be a lot more to him. The Lisa thing was a punch in the gut. But Jack? Honestly, I think John Barrowman's overacting the role.

I'll rant more later, I suppose.

I start training at Peppers' today. Woot!

Off to get ready.
