To The Rescue!
So we were in the Thrift store today. I was looking for stuff for my costume and possibly a pair of white gloves for Jen's costume, when my cell phone rings. It's dad. Earlier he had taken out the newer Jet Ski, now he was stuck and the stupid thing was threatening to sink on him. Dun dun DUHHHH! Well, we're an hour away from home. Keith (Dad's best friend) can't leave Teresa (his very elderly aunt), so he's really stuck. So we buy like two things and rush home. By the way, Amy had to go to work in about a half hour. Yay! So mom comes up with the solution. I watch Teresa, Keith rescues dad, and mom gets Amy to work on time. So when Keith shows up, he says that Teresa wanted to go on the boat, so I was like "I'll go too." Might as well, I could keep an eye on Teresa, so that Keith can pay attention to driving the boat. Of course, I probably could have driven the boat all by myself. I just need to remember exactly how to start up the boat and I couldn't remember what to watch out for when I'm going fast (by that I mean the problem waves A.K.A. the ones that will sink your boat!!!). So we went out and helped dad start up the Jet Ski, he couldn't get the two cylinders to fire, he could only get one to fire. And he had accidently killed the battery before while trying to fix it. So we brought him a new one. :3 And he beat us home. At one point, when he was farther up ahead, our next door neighbor passed him, dad tried to turn in a 360 to talk to him, and that darn thing roller right over. Dad looked like a drowned rat. XD Ah. But we got back safely. And now I must go to a party. I will continue when I get back.
