(no subject)
So I moved my car for the first time since the snow and got stuck in our unplowed alley where Steve and I park, Steve had to get out and push. We left the house today to visit his parents for some tea and cookies. I also got stuck pulling back into the alley from the street. You have to really get a running start and gun it to make it up the slight incline and into our parking spot. I don't know if I'll be able to get out tomorrow morning. I might have to leave the same time as Steve in order to make sure I can get out tomorrow morning.
There was some ridiculous drafts in the front room of our house so I took the roll of window calk/putty and put it along the entire front crack between the floor and kickboard. It has made a significant difference. There is no draft coming from the crack in the couch and the floor isn't cold in front of the couch. Is proud of myself!
Two batches of cookies down, 6 more to go! My mom told me that my aunt has requested cookies for Christmas. So Steve and I will be bringing copious amount of baked good to my aunt and uncle's farm 1.5 hours northwest of Toronto. Fun fun fun.
