Things that made me happy this weekend!

So nice to have a 3-day weekend. Friday Steve had to drive out to Saginaw to meet a client (who ended up not showing up) so I went over to my parents house to do some gardening and got more than I had planned done. Go me! I picked up a hanging basket of "Chenille" (pink fuzzy sausage plant) for our balcony. Then met Steve and we decided to try a new Chinese restaurant that ended up being quite bad. I may be done with Chinese food. Nothing compares to the two good place Great Lakes and China Buffett II I like in A2/Ypsi.

Saturday it rained. So Steve and I moped around the house a bit and decided to go walk around the Laurel Park Mall, went to Olga's Kitchen. Never been there before, it was quite tasty. We then went and saw Pirates 3. Such a fun pretty movie! I was not disapointed! We sat in the 3rd row and I cheered and laughed out loud when no one else did. I'm such a geek. There was a Godiva Chocolate stand and I bought some yummy chocolates for me and my love.  Towards the end of the day went out to Ikea just to walk around and then to our fav bar in Plymouth, Herman's Olde Town Grill (Lower Town). Nice to see some of our Plymouth peeps again.

Sunday it rained again. So Steve and I just kept it local, went grocery shopping, went to Bed Bath and Beyond and got some new scented candles.  A set of very nice "Lime Grove" and some "Harbor Mist". We then went to his parents house for some grilling and dinner and went for a walk around the neighborhoods there.

Today, finally sun!  Steve and I moseyed to Marshall for Mayfaire and had a grand time! It was very much improved since the first time we came 2 years ago. There's all these cute little paths in the woods. Steve got a hat, a neckless and a new mug. I got a new neckless myself. Sadly, no good bodice shops. I was in the mood to buy more garb, but nothing caught my eye. Did some drench a wench and soak a bloke. A good hot and wet time had by all! There was good atmosphere. Steve was basking in all his Rouge glory. I had to make a garb switch midway through faire on account of being very uncomfortable in my bodice. Steve laced me up too tight. I either need to hit the gym or buy more garb. Oh the decisions! Bumming I missed Molly and her man. A wet and soggy Anita is not a happy Anita. But yes, I will definitely go again next year for a day.
