(no subject)
It's official: I'm sick. I took vitamin C every day, drank lots of hot beverages, got a lot of sleep, but I'm still sick. There was no avoiding it, I guess, but it could be worse. I don't actually feel that bad. It's more that I just want to be asleep all the time.
These next three weeks are going to be such a bitch. For finals week I have to write a 20 pg paper, a 10 pg paper, compose art music in the style of schubert, and do a 15 min long electronic music composition. Yeah... we'll see how that goes.
Thanksgiving break was good, but it needed to be longer. I saw the Xmas light festival in LA, that new movie Syrianna, had Tday dinner in LA w/ Carey's aunt and uncle (food was SO GOOD), went to The Kettle, and hung out around Santa Monica and Manhattan Beach. 'Twas a good time, although it was sad to have the campus so dead.
My abuelita was about to die the other day, she has really bad pneumonia and didn't want the oxygen masks anymore etc, so I was sad but she is apparently miraculously better today and has a good chance of making it! Yay abuelita melba.
For those of you in Framingham, I can't wait til winter break. I'll be home Dec 17th to Jan 15th except for a brief trip around xmas, so we better hang out.
