This weekend is FALL BREAK WOO WOO, and I'm going camping in Joshua Tree, where I previously spent the most uncomfortable night of my life (two people in a one person sleeping bag = hell) and saw the most beautiful thing I have ever seen (desert sunrise).

This week, on the other hand, is hilarious because I have five papers due, two projects, and a test. I didn't even know that could happen!

Classes I am taking this semester:
Electronic Music Studio
Music Theory 3
Nationalism and Music
Analyzing Rock Music

Sounds fun, right? Not so much. The only really cool class is electronic music studio because we get to play with ARPs and mixers and theramins and crazy computer programs and the professor is amazing. He has big white bushy hair, huge 70s glasses, and the energy of ten people. Our assignments are things like "make an interesting noise for next class". Analyzing rock sucks my butt because the professor is disorganized and obnoxious, and it's a rare occasion when someone says something interesting. My friend Emily described the class as "staring at a strobe light for an hour and fifteen minutes". That sums it up basically.

Lee-kai sent me that article and it's really interesting but makes me want to go to sleep so bad!
