such a cali night

Last night was stellar:

Went to Dodgers Stadium to see the Dodgers play. We had great seats, and it was a good game with the Dodgers down in the first four innings but then making a comeback. It was also entertaining to see several people get arrested and carried off the field for running onto the field in the middle of the game. Oh, I felt very at home, too, because the crowd would spontaneously start chanting "YANKEES SUCK!"

Afterwards, Carey and I dropped his dad off and drove to Manhattan Beach where we sat on the Pier amidst sketchy fishermen and couples making out. We asked the cop if we were allowed to walk on the beach and he said technically no, but as long as we don't cause any trouble we'll be fine. We walked for awhile until we ran into a couple having sex on the beach, which was lovely, so we turned around and just sat in the sand, watched the waves, and talked about life.

As it approached 1am, we realized we were gonna need some help staying awake, so we went to a really cute 24 hour restaurant a block from the beach and ordered lots of coffee and the most amazing appetizer ever: potato skins covered in tomatoes, bacon, and onions. Mmmm. We then drove back to Claremont singing at the top of our lungs to the radio (Bohemian Rhapsody, Rescue Me, Zephyr Song...)

Was asleep by 4am. Only problem is that now it's 7am and I have to write my research paper for my Jewish Christian Relations class that counts for 1/4 of my grade, and it's not looking good so far. I need to average about 1.5 pages an hour. Here goes...
