trip advice (sorry if this is cross posted)
anyone here know of someplace rad that i should swing by on my road trip i'm taking at the end of this month? right now it's looking like a northern route out, southern route back. i'm looking to take 2 - 3 weeks max because my compadre must be home for his suck-job (as in job that sucks)
the east bay is the destination but i'd like to see Chicago, Minneapolis, Cleveland. And we'll probably go to Charleston and maybe New Orleans. This all depends on how we're doing time/money wise. I'm completley open for advice if anyone's got any as far as the journey goes. hostles, ymcas, cheap & decent food \ coffee, shows coming up in the area, places to avoid, etc.
i haven't posted here in a long time but i watch the community, sorry if it seems like i'm leeching off of a valuable feminista resource- figured this'd be a really good place to ask, being that it's 300 odd memebers strong and filled with grrrls that have interests in common with mi self. chutch.
