New solution to drawing G1: quit trying to make it look exactly like the cartoon or comics and just draw it so it looks good.
Practiced with my favorite pretty boy pair.
The sketch looked better than the finished lineart, so most of it got covered up with psychedelic colors and dark painting. >.> Still a big improvement over this, IMO. And I like psychedelic colors, anyway.
