taking a summer plunge

I've been a stalker in my own friends' page lately. I get on to read, but don't post. I have tons to share, but haven't taken the plunge to write. Some of the things that are jumping in my head:

1. Beginning to prepare for next school year
2. 14 year marriage blahs
3. End of rope, wash my hands of it - kid one issues
4. Psychobable baggage now that I'm back in the total domestic role.
5. wanting to continue writing stories - WIP B&J fic and a zombie fic.

All of the above can be handled by sitting down and getting to work....just not there right now.

On a happy note, reading some good summer literature/books right now:

1. Plain Truth - very predictable, but readable
2. The Death and Life of Superman - really fun summer read
3. Running with scissors - made me shake my head several times with a "whoa" feeling.

Off to fold laundry and clean our fish tank.

Another happy note:
We got hermit crabs at the beach this year. Boo hiss to painted shells, but that aside, fun! I had hermit crabs most of my pre- and teenage years. The really big fist size ones. These are small, but they are fun nonetheless.
