Last night I got to go see the Lion King, the broadway musical. It was totally awesome. We left the school at 3:45 pm. We drove to Pleasanton, which took about an hour or so, and got on B.A.R.T. (Bay Area Rapid Transit). We stayed on there a little over an hour and finally arived in San Francisco. We were all EXTREMELY hungry by that time. We decided to split up and go to different places to eat. My group, there was 5 of us, decided on Subway. Yummy. I brought with me $7.70 and my dinner cost exactly $7.63.....pretty good huh. We ate dinner and then decided to roam around outside. It was really cold so we only roamed around for about 10 minutes, then we went to Starbucks.....which kind of sucked because I had only 7 cents left. We hung out there for a while. We were having fun watching this man and this lady across the street. They had a bottle of booze in a paper bag and were sharing it, and the lady kept reaching in her pocket and we were trying to guess what she had in there. She did eventually take something out but we couldn't see it....oh well. Around that time is when I started to get a fever and a headache, which added to my already sore throat. We hung out for a while more and then went over to the theater. I think it was the Civic Center, not sure. We went in and sat down, waiting for it to start. The show started at 8:00 pm. The beginning was cool, all the people dressed as animals came down the aisles while singing the opening song. It was pretty cool. The costumes were awesome and the music too. They had two guys with their own set of bongos and such on either side of the stage, not on the stage but away from the stage a little. One of my favorite parts was when the older Simba was looking into the pond and seeing his reflection. Rafiki tells him that he needs to look harder. In the movie he looks harder and sees the clouds in the shape of his father. Well, in this they had people on cables in the background doing an arabatic dance, all in black, and then when the monkey says to look harder the people spin and they had all the pieces of Mufasa's face and it just came together. It was pretty cool. The person who played young Simba was really really good. He did all sorts of flips and sang and was really believable. I think he was only 7 or so. The musical ended at around 10:45. We left as fast as we could and got back on B.A.R.T. We stayed on until we got back to Pleasanton and then got in the vans and went home. It was fun. This morning I had an AP test to go to. It wasn't too bad, just extremely long. It was a 3 and a half hour test. Yesterday my dad told me that I needed to clean my room. My room was in the extremely messy phase. I was going to have to clean my room anyways before college so it's okay that my dad is making me clean it. One of my worst habbits was to stuff things under my bed. That's going to take the longest, unstuffing things. I worked for 2 and a half hours today working on figuring out which of my clothes I was going to donate to our local Care Closet. I had to do that because I had WAY too much clothes. I'm donating over 1/2 of my clothes. Oh shoot....gotta go do laundry.....so that's all for now.
