puzzles and tribulations
So Aaron fed from her. I should not be surprised. I should not, I suppose, be surprised how much further insult he has paid me since either. I am associated with him no longer and the only person to tell me this is a bad thing has been Aaron himself.
Markus did his first confession to me last week, I hope penance I set him were harsh enough, I didn't really know what to tell him to do. He also told me that Father Callaghan had set him books to read, but not the Testament, which I thought a bit odd. Markus hates reading though, so perhaps that was why he set him stuff. I may request he read parts of it, but not all of it at once.
He took me for a ride in his jet! It was really cool, he even let me fly it, which was scary but fun. He seems nice, but I worry that he will end up manipulating me like Danny did. I will just have to be careful I guess. He is the same age as me, as a Kindred, it is nice to have someone as young as me to talk to. I hope I can be proper friends with him as well as being his confessor.
November court was held in Richard's old place, Grace (or should I say "mother Grace", though the only person I heard refer to her as such all night was Danny), set us a load of problems, it was fun, I was in a team with Markus and his Sire, Ed. We did really well I think, got most of the answers with our combined brainpower and Markus' contacts. Didn't win though, but apparently Markus did some chatting with Amun to get me the prize rather than him. I don't know what he said. They said it was a sports car apparently, but I haven't seen it yet. If it doesn't materialise I think I will sell the hummer that Aaron gave me in favour of something more sensible.
We had a gathering at Protectorate as well, it belongs to the Carthians I know, but apparently Markus, Ed and Pippin Wax (who apparently is a resident of Kent, though I have never met him before, he seems nice enough, very well spoken for a Carthian), knew nothing about it. They are going to move it I think, Senrab told me we have been tasked with packing up the lab, I think I will leave him to it, I know nothing about half of the stuff in there.
Then they had some more competitions, it was weird we don't usually have any, perhaps Eddie was trying to keep us busy. He got me to enter the firearms one. I didn't do too badly I think, Ed and Damien Marshal beat me, though I know they are a lot older and stronger than me. Alex apparently nearly shot his foot off.
