LJ like it's 1999

My new job is a bit more restricted than my old job--I'm in a large gray cubicle in an office full of ladies, drinking coffee, avoiding chocolate (really, I over-did it) and listening to keys jinging in the hallways. We're on the chemical dependency floor of the hospital, so bleary-eyed men with drug habits wander up and down the halls. They are really very polite, actually, although it makes me question the wisdom of leaving the knives out in the break room. I'm dressed in shiny red and pinstripes, which is currently my favorite thing, ever (so corporate-chic)!

Anyway, my Internet use is restricted, and they're theoretically watching everything we do. So I have limited time, here, and need to fly. Right now I'm writing about text messaging for doctors and reading about Gestalt psychology. It's pretty interesting.
