i've neglected you.
i haven't checked livejournal in a couple days. it felt kinda weird. it also feels weird that i am so connected to something on the internet. in related news, i'm considering switching to blogger.
i was supposed to start work today. instead, i just dropped off copies of my driver's license and social security card. i guess i don't start for another week, but training may start before the end of this week. i really need some freaking money. bills add up. quickly.
jessica and gilles are asleep about 12 feet away. i've woken them up about 10 or so times. me = bad roommate.
i went to the city with joanna on saturday. we lollygagged around union square and the public library and then went to haight to eat the [most-expensive] best burritos i've ever had. $9.10. skipped over to amoeba and bought a couple vinyl: echo and the bunnymen (no killing moon on this one, oh well) and rush, a show of hands. i got manhattan on dvd. last night i watched fear and loathing in las vegas and enjoyed it. i finally saw run lola run on thursday. it was bad and unoriginal. and on saturday i saw the day the earth stood still with joanna. hiroshima, mon amour is playing on march 12 [i think] and i want to see it again. i finished the entire series of the office on friday with jessica. and i own it now too. wowzers [the word of the night on friday]. movies are fun.
farnaz complained i never mention her in my entries. here she is.
i need to start reading again. i have so many good books waiting to be read: the oligarchs, as i lay dying, remembrance of things past, norwegian wood [STILL], roadside attraction, slaughterhouse five and of course i still have more to read in crime and punishment. i'm such a lazy ass.
