I have three friends from the youth group stopping by my office today for some quality "tea time." I had fun the other day on Wikipedia exploring the different "meals" in England. Did you know there IS such a thing as "second breakfast"? I also love the idea of "elevensies" and "tiffin," because they both sound so British. "Tiffin" reminds me of PUFFINS, my favorite attraction at SeaWorld. I want my own puffin, man. Anyhow - about the tea. I purchased some good British tea (Twinnings of London - the oldest surviving brand of British tea, truly), and some trendy Tazo tea. Hopefully something will tickle the teen fancy. I even made a British iTunes playlist to set the mood - plenty of Keane, Herman's Hermits, Elton, Queen, Mika, Monkees, Electric Light Orchestra, and (duh) the Beatles. I shy-ed away from S Club 7 for now. I just don't want to be mocked for my British taste, that's all. Can't wait to have a tea party! Huzzah!
