Knocking things off the to-do list in good form. I needed a day like this to play a little bit of catch up at work.

I forgot to email myself the shipping confirmation for the PINK car charger for my PINK phone. When you use the state employee discount page to order stuff online, you have to have the emails sent to your state email account. While I have the laptop at home and could boot up and log in for the tracking number, it's not worth the hassle.

Hey jennafei, I got your email, and I've read it, and I have comments to send back to you swirling in my head, but I'll try to do it tomorrow. I need to wind down a bit after the hectic at work.

The boss and his boss were walking down the hall when I gave my boss a fax that he tried to avoid. He sarcastically said something about never getting expedite requests to his boss. I half-ass piped in that I bet the evidence was in my locker...well....uh....I guess when you report out most of the blood cases, you get most of the expedites for DNA on the blood evidence.

Then, the DA's office that took me out to lunch a couple of weeks ago was dropping off more evidence...I have a feeling I get to work that case too.

But, all of my peer review is done, except for the one case that I had concerns about. Supervisor asked me to write up my concerns and give the case back to her. We don't want to be harsh, but we can't hold their hands all day long either. My concerns are things that the new TL (you remember that job I didn't get a few months back???) should have caught before it ever got to the reviewer. This isn't doing much to boost my opinion of the TL.

Hrm. I wonder if the guys at Fulton County ever decided to let me know if I need to be in court tomorrow or if they're not going to use my (negative) results. Maybe I should call and check my voice mail...

work, peer review, deliveries, court
