Nightmare Naptime
Well, I hardly post here any more since Facebook but....
I have to write this down before I forget it. Was napping and had this weird dream. (When are they not, right?) There was some girl. She was absolutely crazy. Psychotic and dangerous. She was tormenting everyone around, from causing havoc within marriages by sleeping w/the husbands to torturing animals and people , to outright murder of a child. It went on and on and then I, some family and she were in a house alone together. I wish I could describe the house but it's too strange and twisty. Suffice it to say I'd gotten up to the top section and it had become my task to protect this family and get the crazy girl away. The whole time she's coming up after me she's talking, first nicely, then viciously, alternating back and forth, like you'd see in a movie. (The Shining, Jack," I don't want to hurt you Wendy. I just want to BASH YOUR BRAINS IN!!") As she was coming up the final stairs to where we were she was screaming at me to scare her, just do it! Come on dammit, SCARE ME! As she reached the top, I came around the corner and shove her down them. Hard. It didn't kill her but made it so I could run down and tie her up to carry her outside while she was unconscious. Once outside, she awoke and started struggling. She had a huge knife. She went after me with it, verbally daring and taunting me. We fought and I knocked her down, knocking the knife out of her hands. I went to grab it, we battled a bit, rolling around and I managed to end up on top of her. She was screaming at me the whole time and when I grabbed her knife, I started stabbing her, over and over. She got quieter and I could understand her better. At the end of her death she was saying repeatedly, blood burbling out of her mouth, "You see? You're just like ME." She died, then, and that freakish realization woke me up, panting. Ugh, not a nice, restful nap.
