Not sure what planets are circling to influence my decision but.... I am bound and determined to lose 33lbs by my birthday (9/11). Started Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred program yesterday and we'll see what happens. The 20 minute intense daily program is guaranteed to drop 20lbs off of you in 30 days.
I've also started taking Activia.... decided to combine a couple of different things to lose weight. Changed my eating habits (more fruits and vegetables, cut out all cookies, chips and my favorite... ice cream, for awhile), working out daily and drinking LOTS of water. I expect to lose 20lbs before my birthday.. just not sure about the last 13! But.. I AM determined and any weight loss is better than none :P
Will also get back into walking Akira daily. When I first got her, we walked every day. Down to the Illahee reserve and hit the trails for about an hour. We haven't done that in about two weeks. Not sure why since the weather is gorgeous! She's been to the vet recently and went from 68lbs to 74. She's getting chubby!
A is living in a tent in the backyard... *sigh* I knew the four months he was couch surfing wouldn't last. But since he doesn't have a job and has no means of supporting himself, he's only allowed in the house to shower, eat with us and maybe catch a show or two on TV.. Otherwise, when Z and I are not home, he's either outside in his tent or out looking for a job.
Well.. off to see what kind of dinner I can make with tuna.. ;P
