must see: musical essay "music from the inside out"

Oct 23, 2005 21:52

you don't have to be a music fan to love this documentary: "music from the inside out"

but if you are a music fan or musician, you will be touched deeply and shiver at the exquisite emotions and stories behind the music. and if you are artistic in anyway, you gotta love the visuals: amazing shots and angles they catch the musicians and instruments.

either way, you will enjoy the good stories and wisdom that unfold as musicians fr the philadelphia orchestra share their very human stories and aspirations to improve humanity.

only showing in NYC once a day at 1:30 at Cinema Village theater so far.

my choir director hooked me up w a comp tix today and it was the best film i have seen in a while, in a room full of at least a dozen musicians (w the comp tix) who cried and laughed and gasped at the wonderful scenes and music.

i don't know how long it's going to play so see it SOON! if you're not in new york, check out the website to find out if it comes to your city.
