Sometimes we want everything all at once. Prioritizing our interests, goals, and desires is always tough. Good for you for beginning that process. If a theology degree is your ultimate goal and you don't want to stay an extra year, than don't. Study philosophy on your own, take a philosophy class if you have time, and maybe you'll get a philosophy degree later in life if it's meant to be. Congratulations on getting this far in your studies. A License in Canonical Jurisprudence and a Sacred Theology Licentiate sound very impressive - good luck with that!

I wasn't looking for my soulmate when I found him. I was focused on other things, and God put him in my path. These things can't easily be planned. If you're meant to be married, the right guy will come into your life and no amount of worrying about it will change that. If you're meant to live a religious life, God will open that door for you. Let him show you the way. I'll be praying for you.

By the way, I don't know if you've been getting my comments on your LJ posts. If you add me as a friend, I think my comments will be automatically posted instead of you having to notice them and approve them.
