20th Birthday: On The Road

Mar 19, 2005 00:27

After a pointless drive to a remote location which we could not find, we gave up. Our cars turned around and made the disappointed trek back to The Apartment. A bit disheartened, we exited our vehicles and headed inside to hopefully find something else to do. But we didn't make it out of the apartment complex again that night.

Two bottles of Jameson later, and I was smoking cloves nonstop. And missing my shoes. By the way, I'm not a smoker. There was also drunken Vespa riding going on, and the beginning of lowrider bike races around the building. By the end of the night, or should I say, break of day, I could no longer see or speak like a normal human being, and Sara thought she was going to die.

If I called anyone, I apologize.

The last thing I remember before passing out was looking up at New Friend Eric, who kept asking if I was all right. My response was something along the lines of, "No... Yes... What?.. Water.. Go away.." He waved and smiled at me from his balcony as I walked by his place the following afternoon.

Today, Sara and I decided to pay a surprise visit to my boyfriend-who's-not-my-boyfriend, and to spend money in his store. He said if he had known I was coming, he would have gotten a little something together for me. I told him not to worry about it. He then gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek, and wished me a happy birthday for the millionth time. I didn't mind.

I'd like to thank those who sent me nice birthday wishes--I appreciate it. By the way, is there a possible PTC Reunion occurring before Wednesday? Let's get in touch.
