Pressure...pushing down on me...

Wow. Last night was amazing. The FleetCenter is actually a really good venue for concerts. We had seats in the "aging hipsters" section (that's what I call it), straight across from the stage. Far away, yeah, but pretty awesome. Madeline and I took the train in and it was exciting, then came in and (sat in the wrong seats) watched the Polyphonic Spree, an insane band that included, among other things, a violin, a harp, a french horn, a trombone, and a 10 person chorus. There were like, 30 people in that band...all wearing like white southern church robes! Pretty crazy.
So then yeah, we found our ACTUAL seats for Bowie, lol, and it was amaaaaazing. He played like the best of his career! The Man Who Sold the World, Sunday (a major favorite of mine), All the Young DUDES (singalong!! man, it was awesome), China Girl, Ashes to Ashes, Quicksand (that one is really old and awesome), Looking for Water, New Killer Star, Hang on to yourself (Ziggy Stardust, man!!) Rebel Rebel, etc. Wow. Madeline and I had to leave to catch the train...Ben said I missed Five Years in the encore!!! Gah, like, one of my favorite songs ever. But that's ok, I'm really glad I got to see him at all, because words cannot even begin to adequately describe how much I adore him/his music! Major fan, I am. When we were running out to catch the train we ducked in to one of the side entrances and looked down and he was like RIGHT THERE! Those would've been awesome seats. I can't wait until I'm older and have a car and can linger around for as long as I want after concerts to like, be a groupie. :P Or just, y'know, get autographs and such. Ah, I LOVE HIM! Got a kickass shirt too.
He also played Under Pressure (his bassist did Freddie Mercury's part, she did a good job), which was a) really awesome and b) particularly appropriate. I have a Bio test tomorrow and a French quiz, Math Test, and History test on Friday. Man, I will be glad when this week's over. Not to mention today SUCKED because I got two abysmal grades, a crappy grade, and felt completely incompetent at my viola lesson. I have to ace this stuff (which I WILL) and maybe get some practicing in. Screw the night rehersal, I seriously need to ace the Bio test tomorrow.
Well, whatever. I'm still happy from last night. :D LOVE HIM SOOOOOOOOO DAMN MUCH!!!
oo...pressure...*runs away to study*
