Linking to spread the love, though I'd be surprised if quite a few of you haven't seen it by now: womenlovefest. People giving positive attention to female characters that fandom tends to hate on. There is nothing not to love about this.

Yes, same! Caz actually brought this to my attention first, and it took my breath away. Then saw it again in the fest and just had to link it here.

Though perhaps I should have warned that it's also a bit of an emotional wringer.

It was rather devastating, but beautifully done nonetheless. I think I want to stick with my fairy tale endings in which Mik gets the bots and Sam...well... he is Sam.

I LOVE how much fixit fic there has been for Mikaela. She is such a great character with so much potential, but was framed so poorly by a misogynistic director, yet still manages to shine. Love this fest!

Haha, yeah, have to say I still prefer the fairytale endings overall. This one was just so striking with how true it felt. And I'm totally a sucker for when the language of a story, the actual writing, is beautiful as well. Which this was, so, icing on the cake.

I haven't actually seen much of this fixit fic, but haven't really been looking around much. Do you have any recs? (If you've got the energy for that, if you don't that's totally fine.)
