First three of the set of drabbles. All are worksafe.
For
elanor_pam, Cloud, Tifa, "silly."
Cloud never felt self-conscious playing with Marlene until after he'd gotten up, and realized that he'd spent the last forty-five minutes crawling on the floor.
"I look silly," he said to Tifa, who laughed.
"You make a very charming behemoth," she assured him. "She almost never wants to play tea party or anything, you know - it's usually quests, and monster-slaying."
"That's because she was raised by Barret and by you." Cloud stretched.
"Poor kid," Tifa said with a smile. He saw the way her hand hesitated before it settled on his back.
So he said, "Nah. She's a lucky girl."

For
ilyat, Luxord, Xemnas, caught by surprise.
Xemnas had seen a number of responses to the loss of a heart - stoicism, depression, rage: the whole range of their stunted emotions. Luxord surprised him. He was as blasé as anyone could be at such a revelation.
"I've been dealt a bad hand before," Luxord said. "Dame fortune's a bitch."
"This bad?" Xemnas had asked, half-exasperated, half-curious.
Luxord chuckled. "No," he said. "Not this bad. Still - the wheel turns."
"And until then you're… just content with your lot?"
"I wouldn't say content," Luxord said, flashing a smile, even white teeth and demon eyes. "But I can bide my time."

For
nekokoban, bitty!Kairi vs. the Apprentices. Spoilers for Kingdom Hearts 2.
Ienzo got along with the princess least well. "We're working. A child has no place here."
Braig opened his mouth.
"Don't even," Ienzo snapped.
Braig closed it on a smirk.
Braig got on better with teenagers. Dilan was neutral. Elaeus liked her, which was the root of Ienzo's displeasure, and took her gravely to the gardens to watch the seasons turn.
But she was most taken with Xehanort, with his dark skin and his yellow eyes, and followed him around when she could get away with it. He accepted this with detached and puzzled affection - just as Ansem treated him.
