Was friends with bombshell blonde 21 yr old med student from Australia for over a year. Got really close, made long distance phone calls, told her pretty much everything, talked to her online from morning 'til night. Stumbled across a Myspace profile IDENTICAL to hers, but belonging to androgynous brunette 17 yr old Australian high school student with the same name as her roommate. Asked her about it and was told it was an obsessive friend of her roommate's who idolized her and copied her every move. Myspace profile was deleted within the same conversation, friend said she told the girl to take it down because it was creepy. I did more research, found more damning evidence against her, cut ties with her immediately since she'd obviously lied to me for over a year in spite of showing signs of wanting to be more than friends with me. She whined about my cutting ties with her to mutual friends who merely rolled their eyes, knowing she was an underhanded little cunt in the first place, something I'd fallen into and nearly become myself under her influence. I brought the situation to the attention of her girlfriend at the time who outed her more publicly, and we never heard from her again. Found out later that she got involved with a girl from Utah who was expecting her to fly up for a concert. "Darla" never showed, leaving girl in Utah wondering what happened to her and without answers. Don't know if she ever got any answers. She was pretty heartbroken and worried.
She still shows up from time to time, under her real name and real pics now; but her FB profile has her as living in Chicago, which I don't believe for a moment.
