, the trans man who is 5 months pregnant, an "androgynous freak show" during his CBS Late Night show Tuesday night.David Letterman
On every show, Letterman presents a Top 10 list about some current affair and last night it was "10 messages left on Thomas Beatie's answering machine." (See clip below.)
Rounding out the Top 10 list was: "Michael Jackson here ... We just wanted to reach out to another 'androgynous freak show.'"

suggests people contact CBS and let them know you aren't laughing:
"November 20th of this year will mark the 10th annual Transgender Day of Remembrance, which is "set aside to memorialize those who were killed due to anti-transgender hatred or prejudice," either by violent action or apathetic inaction, as in the case of Robert Eads, a trans man, a year of whose life was documented in Southern Comfort, who died of ovarian cancer after two dozen doctors refused him treatment."
We couldn't agree more.

I wrote a letter to CBS. Will you join me? Leave no space for hatred and ignorance. I wonder what Dave would say if someone mocked his band leader for being gay - I doubt he'd be laughing then. It's not acceptable to mock trans people either.
