I responded to a question posed elsewhere and this was so important and now that I HAD to X post here.

I feel for her, I really do, but this should serve as a warning for us single mothers/fathers who try to have some sort of love life... CHECK INTO YO MAN SISTAS! Brothas- CHECK INTO YOUR LADIES! . had she did a simple background check she would have saw his criminal record and could have made other choices.
This may sound harsh, but there aint a Penis alive worth my baby, Nooooo sir! I think that is what I am most mad at- The baby did NOT have to die, she knew he was 7:30 [completely insane for those slanguistically challenged] when she got with him, or soon thereafter!
I think that is why I stopped dating, it just seemed that noone I met turned out to be worthy of being in my son's space or life. I am not saying that noone is, but please believe that when I do decide to have a love life again, He's going to have to give up the info with a quickness before he even gets my number/address/punani/ whatever.
