I'm home! :)
I LOVED FSU!!!!!!! The campus is so cool. It's huge. Tons of people there, no parking spots, cool dorms, Tallahassee's cool. I had fun this weekend. Mom was a blast when we went over there. She was in the best mood. She approves and is kinda excited for us. Elise is definitely going when she gets accepted. I need to put in my application. We found this cool dorm that everyone there signs a contract at the beginning of the year and if they break it, they're out(no smoking, no drinking, no drugs, and abstinence). Pretty cool. It's a co-ed dorm, but still, no guys and girls in the same room or sharing a bathroom. Kinda reminds me of camp.
We went and visited the campus ministry. That was cool. A girl there was really helpful, she was the one who actually told us about the cool dorm, and she also told us about an apartment complex that a lot of Christians stay at and it's supposed to be really nice. We drove by it, but you have to have an appointment to check out the apartments.
We got to Tallahassee last night at like 11:30 (central), drove around FSU for about a half hour then found a hotel room at 12 (central). We thought they were still central time, but we were like WHOAH, it's 1. We had to get up early cuz Els had to be back for work today at 5. I was up at 6:30 (eastern). WAY TOO EARLY, cuz it's like 5:30 our time (YUCK)! Anyhow. We got ready and had breakfast and was at FSU at like 8:00. Took forever to find a parking spot. We found one and took a campus bus to the Visitors Center. We looked like tourists bad, but we didn't care. We talked to Admissions, Els had one question. Visited the bookstore. That was cool. It was like a Barnes and Nobles (not quite so big, but they had EVERYTHING!). Walked everywhere. Thankfully it was nice and breezy out today or Els and Mom would've passed out.
We finally finished at the campus, looked at everything we wanted to for today, and then we went searching for TJ Maxx. On our way, we came across Ross by accident and it's JUST down the street from school. TJ Maxx is a bit further, but still pretty close to campus. We then went for lunch at a cafe, got gas, and headed back to P-cola.
About four miles east of Marianna, Mom and I heard a noise and we both decided she should slow down and pull over to check it out. We were driving like 75/80, we slowed to 50 to pull over and Mom's front left tire blew. She had a hard time stopping cuz her Trailblazer is front wheel drive, but we got it stopped, and we were fine. It was like down to the rim. Smelled horrible. Looked for a spare, but found out someone stole our spare from under the car. So we called AAA, they got us a tow truck, they towed us to Walmart, but they didn't have a tire her size, he then towed us to someplace, I don't remember the name. Mom got all new tires, cuz she needed to get them anyhow, she's been on the same tires since she bought the car, cuz they've been good, and because she and Dean were talking about it just this weekend anyhow. So we waited for that. I fell asleep on the way home. I fell asleep funny though, like on the door of the front passenger seat on my right wrist. When I woke up, my right hand wouldn't move. I tried to like move my hair out of my face with my hand and it was like really limp and it wasn't registering to me that my hand was numb cuz I was soooo out of it. Anyways...made it to Sarah's about a half hour ago. I'm gonna stay with her tonight! YAY! Beck and Sarah time!!!!!!! She's outside rakin the leaves! I probably should go talk to her, but I wanted to do this while she was doing something so I wouldn't have to do it later! :D
So I'm gonna go. I'm so glad to be back home. I'm tired of traveling on the weekends for one day! Els is gonna be leaving on Wednesday (sniff, sniff). She has my cousin's wedding to go to. INSANE! She gets back on Sunday. She will be greatly missed. Anna leaves tomorrow. Dean's going to Atlanta tomorrow. So it'll be just me, Mom, Josh, and Lise tomorrow night. Wow....kinda quiet.
Like I said, I'm going! LOVE YOU GUYS! Missed ya'll yesterday! Can't wait to see you Wednesday.
