Morality
You can have morals without a god or religion to dictate them to you. It's all about a balance of being raised correctly, being able to discern the difference between right and wrong, and being able to make decisions for yourself.
People seem to think that without a religion to write that limit down for you that you will just run amok killing, raping, and stealing because HEY! you don't believe in god so who cares?
I'm not some amoral asshole. I like to think that I'm a pretty good person.
Sorry, just totally pissed off right now. I think the lack of sleep and everything else is getting to me and I'm uber cranky. But everything I said above is still true.
