East Hampton
So I expect livejournal will be hearing a whole lot more of me this summer...
East Hampton is very pretty... just a little lonely. I'm used to having a lot of people I know around me to hang out with and here I know no one... and currently the person who has my same schedule is home for the weekend. It's also cold... having a pool and a beach and it being 50 degrees is just not friendly. Atleast if your from Ohio. I can't wait for June, who would have known New York is so much colder than home.
I think I need to find ways to entertain myself... locate the library maybe.
Today I drove around explored. I'd do that more but gas is real expensive. Went shopping some.
Our house is amazing, I have the entire basement to myself, including my own bathroom and a spare bedroom. so if anyone wants to visit.... I have a three day weekend every other weekend and a pool (wait till mid june). it's a ton bigger than expected... and in the woods and impossible to find in the dark. though everything is hard to find here.
People here are decidely a little odd. And I need to learn how to drive differently...aggresively. Everyone is pretty good in traffic but the moment there is none everyone flys... its like they are making up for lost time, and complete disregard for cops. Everyone takes their dogs into stores too. Kitchen stores, clothing stores. I saw amazing espresso machines, i shouldn't be allowed in williams sonoma. This is yuppie central. this is where I will be for the next 11 weeks. there isn't a fast food restaurant for 10 miles, maybe 15.
