"siskinsplace": I started the journal to blab about writing and my stories when my thoughts got too long and rambling for my fanfiction.net profile. My pen name there is "Siskin"; I wanted "Simkin", which is the name of one of my favorite characters in fantasy, the mysterious, anachronistic fool in the Darksword trilogy. But that name was taken, so I changed one letter. Unfortunately, even "Siskin" was taken on LJ, so I had to add "place".

Luna and Artemis, because I got back on an Artemis kick about two months ago when I started watching Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon, the live-action version. I'm not even sure I got far enough into the anime series to encounter Artemis, but he's fascinated me ever since I saw an artbook picture of his rarely-seen human form (wow!) And in the live version, he's voiced by Kappei Yamaguchi - aka Ranma 1/2 and Inuyasha! And darn it, he is a cute little white kitty cat. Of course, my default userpic is always subject to change depending on what I'm into at the time.
