Dear Lindsay,
Just when you least expect it, it happens.
A few weeks back, I decided to start chasing lighthouses NEXT year. It would be a cool adventure for me and equally fascinating to those who can view my photos. Then the team opted to go to Calatagan for a weekend of merriment. We had no specific beach on mind. Imagine my joy when we found ourselves driving to Nano Beach. The sight of the tall sentinel made my hand jump to my mouth in amazement. Serendipity!
I told Mitch that it looked similar to the one my old workmates and I found when we were on our way to Lobo, Batangas. She argued Lobo is from the opposite route. Check out

Sadly, it was locked and I suspect nobody was allowed to come inside. I have no idea how it is called. But the sign above the gate reads CAMINO CANALES PUERTOS.
