As a young country, America is enthusiastic, excitable and generally optimistic. She believes that no matter what happens, everything will be alright in the end. However, when compared to the male version of America, she's noticeably less excited and loud, even a bit more calm about things. But that's just compared to America. When compared to other nations, she still seems every bit as loud and energetic. As shown in herdesigns, while happy, she's not as eager and energized as her male counterpart always seems to be. She's good-natured and generally polite to people she just meets, unless she already has something against them which isn't likely unless you're a communist country. She's also more mature, not as into video games (though she still loves Wonder Woman and Batgirl) and in behavior. Then again, this is only compared to the male version of America, so other people may not view it this way, however it is fairly obvious in her usual personality. Unless she's excited about something. In her other design, though, she looks very confident and cocky, which she most definitely is about her country. She's extremely proud and it's obvious to anyone. That's why she wears such revealing clothing-if you got it, flaunt it. Of course, everyone should be able to admire her purple mountain majesties. Not to mention, it attracts attention and America surely loves attention. She believes it makes her seem cute, though everyone else thinks she's a tramp. She doesn't really understand that and believes she's super fashionable. Her ideas usually involve sending a TV show star to go fix problems, because they obviously have the skills. She loves TV shows, especially reality TV shows, and can readily tell you everything you need to know about American television.
America loves to go shopping, even when she doesn't have a lot of money to spend on it. She has to be stylish! Even if the other countries often insult her for having no sense of style, she does her best to be up-to-date on the latest fashions. Normally, she walks like she's a star straight from Hollywood and acts like it too. However, she treats all of her citizens like they're her best friends and likes to hang out with them no matter what. Even with her love of shopping, she usually acts like a tomboy. In her design, she's shown holding a baseball bat and a hot dog, which shows that her favorite sport is baseball and, unlike her male counterpart, she prefers hot dogs to hamburgers. She loves to play and watch baseball, even being able to beat the guys, though that's mainly because she's stronger than the normal person and nation. She can eat way past the normal healthy limit without a care; it's not fattening if she orders a diet soda along with it! She's often seen dressed in with a cowboy hat and cowboy boots, showing that in her heart she's still a cowgirl with all the wild that comes with it. She can sometimes be found wearing a cowgirl hat (given to her by Annie Oakley herself!), and because of her western background, she treats any humans, usually her own people, with politeness. She'll tip her hat, call women "little missy" or something of the sort and generally seem like a western gentleman because of her tomboyish personality. Interestingly enough, though, she's very into women's rights and is a self-described feminist. However, she sometimes forgets this (considering the way she dresses) and may be anti-feminist without meaning it. But if anyone even makes a comment on how men could be better than women, she'll be sure to rant their ear off.
