Just a friendly reminder that I am not dead.

I've been very busy lately, still am, working three different jobs at once. I'm taking this year off from any kind of school or education, and until Christmas, I'll be mostly working my arse off. In January I'm off to Australia with my second cousin and childhood friend where we'll be working our arses off some more and then travel.

I've been reading a lot of books lately, plowing through the Hunger Games series, the Maze Runner series, A Song of Ice and Fire, Temeraire and a few more. It went up for me one day how I'd completely neglected to keep up with all the good books that are being published, with the exception of the Skulduggery Pleasant series (Bless that Derek Landy), and have been trying to make up for it ever since. I'm currently on the third Temeraire book, and have noticed my English is steadily growing more and more formal. I like it. It's all posh and fancy :3 It will be a nice combination with my soon-to-be Australian accent.

I'm currently borrowing my brother-in-law's tablet, and I'm doodling away whenever I've got the spare time. I made an ask blog on tumblr, http://ask-kuina.tumblr.com but because of my several jobs, I am unfortunately not all too active.

My dad has been trying to convince me to hurry up, get a boyfriend, marry him and have children, because, as he so elegantly puts it, "you'll have to do something now, while you are still young and pretty and men still want you". My grandmother (on my dad's side) has been equally insistent on lecturing me on taking care of my skin of all things. Because, as she ALSO so elegantly put it, "It's the prettiest feature you've got".
Gee. Thanks grandma.

I got my youngest older sister, Solvor, to watch Doctor Who, Sherlock and How I Met Your Mother, and we've been bonding a lot over our now common obsessions. It's quite nice, having someone in the family to actually talk to about something I might actually care about. I'm sick and tired of all the small talk going around, and I swear, my relatives are the most ANNOYING small-talkers.

I've been thinking I might try my hand at writing again sometime in the future. You know, just to try and see if I still don't really like it. I make no promises though.

And that concludes one of Siseja's now grown way too rare life updates
