Wow, I really suck at updating
I'm not sure if I haven't really felt like updating lately, or haven't had time, but it honestly hasn't occurred to me in the last week or so to even post anything here. The last week and a half has been full of ups and downs.
On tuesday, I got home from work to find Nikki's car outside my house, and Nikki, Nate and Preston leaving. They were headed to black and read to kill time before the Harry Potter midnight showing, and I tagged along. Black and read closed right after we got there, so we didn't spend much time, but it was a good drive, I guess. Ended up hanging out by myself while my friends were off having fun with my ex.... again...
At work on wednesday, the donor who gave me her phone number came in, asked why I hadn't called. Told her I had a pretty busy weekend, and told her I'd text her on my next break. Texted her, ended up having a furtive conversation with her via text. During the course of said conversation, she sent me images of various parts of her anatomy, in various states of undress. Spent most of the day sexting her. Ended up meeting her for beers after work. Talk started innocent enough, but we left the bar when I noticed her hand down my pants. Went back to her place, spent the night there. The total number of women I've slept with is now 4.
Woke up on Thursday exhausted. Not only was I up way too late, but I have trouble sleeping in a new bed the first time. Just kinda zombied through most of the day. Kim (the donor) also texted me quite a few times during the day, especially when I was leaving work, wondering when I'd stop by. She came on kind of strong, and kept trying to get me to spend the night at her place, even though I was already on my way home. Ended up just ignoring her till she stopped texting me.
Friday I crashed pretty hard, thinking about Nikki. Was in a pretty bad emotional place, and ended up sleeping away a good portion of the morning. Woke up in the afternoon, talked to Nikki online about how I realized I needed more space. Told her how I was feeling about seeing her, and that visiting hawaii with her was probably a bad idea. Still wanna go though, just not alone. In the end, I asked Nikki to avoid me as best as she could, until I asked her not to.
Nate and Jenny were going to run some errands, and ended up convincing me to get my first tattoo while we were out running errands. Stopped by the store, then went to the tattoo place. I was a bit scared at first, but loosened up pretty quickly once the procedure started. I totally lucked out with the artist too. He's known for his very sharp linework, and I'd seen some of his stuff on the website, and his black work was really precise. Normally he works at the boulder branch of Tribal Rites, but happened to be down in Westminster, and was available when I showed up. Really nice guy, really sharp lines, I was impressed. Now I know who's going to be tattooing me when I get the rest of my extremely nerdy tattoos. Went home, continued a conversation with a girl I met on OKCupid, and we ended up deciding to meet at Efrain's in Longmont.
Drove up to longmont, Rebecca got lost on her way up, so I txted ben while I was waiting. She showed up, and we had dinner together. Spent a lot of time talking about WoW. That stupid game has a nasty habit of working its way into any conversation if both people have played it. Talk drifted away from WoW enough that we didn't just spend the whole night geeking out about it. Left the restaurant, went walking through downtown Longmont. There was some sort of street festival going on, so the main street was blocked to car traffic. After we walked the strip, we hung out at a little park, and talked for awhile. Walked back, went home, went to bed. Kim had texted me a couple of times during the night, but I mostly ignored her. On saturday, I had to work. Kim texted me a couple times during work, and since she wasn't doing anything that night, she wanted to hang out. I figured I didn't have anything else to do, so I decided to join her. Grabbed some beer after work, went over to here place, and watched a few movies. Van Wilder 2, Less than Zero, Fast Times at Ridgemont high, and eventually, Premonition. Halfway through Fast times, we started fooling around, and ended up back in the bed. Watched the rest of the movie, had some pizza, then I fell asleep during Premonition.
Sunday, woke up around 9, Kim had a date with a girlfriend, so I drove home shortly thereafter. Got home, ended up taking a nap, cuz I didn't sleep well the night before. Woke up around 4, got ready, headed to FoCo to hang out with Ben. Sabina wasn't around, so we didn't have family dinner night, but Ben and I did get Big City Burrito. We ended up hanging out, and talking about girls we had met on OKCupid, and ben badgered me into messaging a couple girls I had on my watchlist. I also ended up rewriting a substantial portion of my profile, so it didn't seem so mechanical. Afterwards, we just hung out and talked about nerdy things.
Monday was uneventful. Mowed the lawn, took care of some other stuff around the house. The rest of the week was uneventful as well, trained some new people at work, and that's about it. Kyle's girl from Minnesota arrived on Tuesday, she seems nice, but I haven't had much chance to hang out with her, with work and all. also she and kyle seem busy most of the time. That's about it.
