Comment here to find out what Theresa *really* thinks of your character.

The truth, I mean, not just what she'd tell you, and not just what she thinks she thinks.

And why not, I'll do the commentary one too.

Request any fic/RP/drabble/random entry/whatevah of mine and I will provide you with a commentary/annotations, like a DVD extra. That offer' ( Read more... )

That's okay, I can only get audio in .wma format and I don't know if that works on your computer anyway. *shrug*

Oh Lorna. Terry holds herself to a much different standard with Lorna than anyone else. She really doesn't want Lorna to think there's anything wrong with her, and she's afraid to confide in her because she doesn't want to let Lorna down. She really does view Lorna as her older sister, and she goes through phases. Her rebellious, I-don't-care-what-you-say-I'm-going-to-do-it-anyway-and-who-are-you-to-tell-me-I-can't phase, and her desperately seeking approval phase.

She's insanely jealous of Kara and Sally, and anyone else that Lorna has sort of adopted, because she wants that kind of treatment from Lorna as well, but if she were to offer it, Terry would turn it down, because she's also horribly proud.

There are times when Terry thinks Lorna's judging her, and then she gets defensive, whether or not that's what Lorna's actually doing. She trusts Lorna's judgement of people, so it worries her that Lorna will deem her as someone untrustworthy. Or really anything negative. Terry likes to believe she doesn't care what people think of her, but what Lorna thinks of her is one of the most important things to Terry. So she pushes her away, figuring that if Lorna's going to think badly of her, it's because Terry wants her to. She's so silly.

Terry adores Lorna, but she's also intimidated by her. She sees Lorna as being very successful, and so intelligent, and Terry doesn't think she'd ever measure up to that. But she also sees Lorna as overly emotional, and she thinks that's her weakness. She strives to be the less emotional version of Lorna, but she doesn't realize that Lorna's emotions make her stronger, and that without them she's not Lorna anymore.

And she misses her. She wants her to move back to New York.
