Holy Fish Paste, I'm updating!!
Wow, it's been a really really long time since I've updated hasn't it? Maybe tonight if I'm not too lazy I'll change the general look of the page too, how about that? Not much has been going on...well I guess a lot has been going on since I came to Hawaii but too much to write about, and nothing extraordinarily insanely different like growing a third arm or something. I've just been hanging out doing homework when I get it (sparatically at best...don't you just hate me?) Hanging out on the weekends, going to the mall or beach or just hanging out in the dorm. I went shopping the other day at the local foodmart place thing and got some pop tarts and chips so you can tell I'm being healthy. As far as I can tell I haven't put on any weight, let alone joined the elite ranks of the Freshmen 15.
That's all I can really think of to say, classes are going well, I just aced my anthropology test, and I got my Asian Studies test back and I aced that too! Go me, I'm just too brilliant. Going to get our History paper back on Monday so we'll see how that goes. Everyone here is really nice though so everything's going well. Made lots of friends (but what can be expected of someone so loveable?). Kept in touch (kind of) with my Issaquah friends, but it's tough with them at college too haha. Going to come back for Christmas so we can all hang out and stuff...that'll be really fun. I really like it here, not to rub it in or anything, but the weather is really great, so even during school it's really hard to feel down. I love the blue sky and sunshine beating down on my face, it's just such a pick me up. Classes are really interesting and fun so that's good as well, I haven't fallen asleep in any classes. In fact I usually get to bed around midnight sometimes a little later, but my earliest classes are Tuesday and Thursday and even then they're at 10:30 so I wake up at about 8:30 haha. Oh well.
Oh! And from my room I get a beautiful view of the sunset everyday. It sets just behind Wakiki so I get a nice city skyline and then a Gorgeous sunset behind it. The sun never fails to put on a great show for us, just yesterday the whole sky and everything was a bright orange, then deeper orange, then pinkish...redish...purpleish...then the sun went down. Tommy got some pictures so I'll try and get them from him so I can post them or send them or whatever. It's so pretty here though!
