Zombie apocalypse, dark fantasy, vampire hunting, space police, noir, really anything but an entirely mundane AU is great. I also really love monster girls. So any female characters as monster girls or getting turned into monster girls is great!
I've never gotten to read pregnancy or kidfic for any of my pairs, so that is a general prompt you can use for any of them.
Also, feel free to include any side or background ships you want. The characters don't exist in a vacuum so don't worry about it if you want to include a ship either because you want to or because you think it will add to the story, just as long as my request ship remains the main one.
I love coyotes and as a prompt you can use for any of them would be characters helping or raising a coyote. Since it would be irresponsible for me to ever have a coyote in real life I can instead enjoy them in fics.
I'm trying to do something different at the suggestion of a friend am going for fewer pairings and not the small army I normally do.
American Horror Story
Violet Harmon/Tate Langdon (AHS), Zoe Benson/Kyle Spencer (AHS)
I’ve only seen through Coven. I am heavily spoiled for Apocalypse.
With Violet/Tate while I love it, I felt it was important to both of their characters that Violet dumped him at the end of Murder House. I felt that it was a step that allowed both of them to grow. I also felt it was the push Tate needed to finally accept responsibility for his actions when talking to Ben in the last episode. I also think that the revelation in Apocalypse that the house influenced Tate’s behavior and actions is in line with the first season and was the intention from the beginning. Now, all that being said, I’d like a ending for Violet and Tate where they are together. Changing the timeline got rid of their happy ending so I’d like a new one for them.
A particular AU I’m interested in, is a role reversal where what if Violet was the ghost and Tate the one that was still alive. Would Violet’s influence have been enough of a counter to the house’s influence? While not requested, I’m also a big fan of Ben and Tate’s relationship, so having Ben show up would be fun as maybe a second ghost.
With Zoe/Kyle I never realized I had a thing for human witch girl/boy brought back from the dead wrong until this season. I’m more interested in the caring parts between the two of them and Kyle’s violent outburst than anything else. I have zero interest in Madison being added onto their relationship.
I want to see what happened to Zoe/Kyle after the series. I also want to know what he’s doing in Apocalypse. I personally think they just didn’t have the time to include him and feel that Cordelia executing him for Madison’s death makes no sense when they didn’t care enough about Madison to even revive her. I’m also really interested in Zoe’s attempts to reeducate Kyle. I feel a little cheated that it got cut short. I’d also love to see Kyle actually get to act as the Coven’s attack dog.
I’d love to see an AU where Zoe and Kyle are still a witch and undead, but in a fantasy or historical setting. I also would not say no to Zoe being an evil witch.
Crossover Fandom
Kara Danvers (Arrowverse)/Peter Maximoff (X-Men ATM), Kara Danvers (Arrowverse)/Peter Maximoff (X-Men ATM)/Wanda Maximoff (MCU), Barbara Gordon (DC Prime Earth)/Felicia Hardy (Marvel 616), Wanda Maximoff (MCU)/Scott Summers (X-Men Movieverse)
So age wise I'm fine if Peter is a teen like Days of Future Past, twenties like Apocalypse or 30s like in the upcoming Dark Phoenix. I like the idea of Kara/Peter because I think it could be really fun with the two of them eating massive amounts of junk food. I also just think that their personalities could play off of each other in really fun ways. They are both such joyful characters.
I love the idea of things like fusions and AUs for them. One thing I've particularly always wanted to see is an AU where Kryptonians are demons or are dragons (like dragon girls). I also love the idea of Peter stealing stuff to flirt with Kara.
With adding Wanda I really like MCU Wanda, but I hate what the movies have done with her, especially in Infinity War. I think that she'd be much happier with Peter and Kara. You can totally play up the crossover incest angle with this, and even somehow make it more incesty by somehow connecting Kara to the two of them.
I am also pretty fond of dark Wanda. I liked her as an antagonist in Age of Ultron. I don't like what the movies have done with her since then, especially not Infinity Wars.
With Barbara/Felicia I think that they would just play wonderfully off each other. I am mostly familiar with Felicia from the Silk comics but I've ordered The Evil That Men Do and Spider-Man: Black Cat. I'm looking forward to reading both. I love the idea of this with Felicia as more heroic or more criminal. I enjoyed her personality a ton from what I've seen and she was one of my mains in Marvel Heroes Omega. With Barbara I love her brains, her bravery, and how great of a person she is. I can see so much teasing about a Bat and a Cat dating. I think Selina would be especially amused by this (I could see Selina and Felicia being friendly rivals).
I can see Felicia trying to steal something, Barbara coming to stop her, then both team up against something worse, but in the end Felicia gets away maybe with or without a valuable trinket.
I also love the ideas of AUs for this. If you know Persona 5 I think seeing one or both as Phantom Thieves would be so cool. Or maybe Felicia can be a Phantom Thief and Barbara can be a Seeker of Truth like in Persona 4. This pairing also lends itself really nicely to an urban fantasy or even an outright Buffy the Vampire Slayer AU.
For Scott/Wanda I don't care if it's the alternate timeline Scott or the original timeline Scott. I love both versions. The one thing I ask is that you don't bash Jean or Jean/Scott. I'm fine with them having never gotten together, parted, her being dead, etc, just please don't bash it or act like she never mattered to him. With Scott and Wanda I love that both have control issues with their powers and both have been hated by their respective worlds. They've also both lost an older brother (and ironically both because their world's respective Quicksilver wasn't fast enough) and can understand the pain the other feels.
For prompts hmm, I don't really have one. I love these two together but the one prompt I had has already been written. I'd love to see them in any point in a relationship. If you want to write an AU I'd love something with Wanda being a real witch and maybe Scott goes to her about his cursed eyes?
DC's Arrowverse
Kara Danvers/Earth-2 Laurel Lance (Arrowverse)
With the Earth-2 Laurel Lance you have either the angle of a villain or a hero for her and I love either one.
I like that both her and Kara can understand the pain of losing family, and considering we haven't an Earth-2 Sara Lance I have to wonder if she died. Earth-2 Oliver seemed far more faithful so I imagine Earth-2 Sara either being on the Queen's Gambit as just a friend, without it being a secret, or dying some other way. If Laurel did lose her sister then she has lived through what would be one of Kara's worst nightmares.
I love the idea as Laurel either early into her character arc where she is an antagonist. I love the idea of her corrupting Kara. But I also am enjoying the redemption arc for Laurel so I'd also love seeing a heroic Laurel.
Since we know Crisis on Infinite Earths is coming next year maybe do your own version of that (but no killing Kara or Laurel)? I would also love a fantasy or urban fantasy AU for these two.
DCU (Comics New 52-Present)
Jay Garrick (Earth 2)/Kara Zor-El (Prime Earth)
So this is pretty simple. I started reading comics at the New 52. I really have no desire for anything set before that. I don't want any references to the Kara from between Crisis on Infinite Earths to Flashpoint. It is fine to make a New 52 version of an older character.
New 52 Jay was my first Flash. I quickly grew from not caring about him to adoring him. New 52 Kara was the first version of Supergirl I really became a fan of. I just want to see two of my faves paired together.
Maybe they have an adventure together? Maybe Power Girl introduces them? I don't know. I just think this version of Jay is really sweet and Kara could use a good friend and/or a love interest that isn't trying to destroy the planet.
X-Men (Alternate Timeline Movies)
Jean Grey/Peter Maximoff/Scott Summers (ATM)
When it comes to this ship the age gap isn't a feature or a bug. I'm fine with their ages left as is, all of them being the same age, having the gap made smaller, or just bumping everyone up a little.
I love the idea of the three of them coming together when each has a reason to be alone. Jean is feared even at a school for mutants. Scott didn't seem especially popular at his old school plus his brother is a good bit older than him. And while not shown, being the mutant thief son of a single mother of Eastern European descent during the Cold War doesn't sound like a recipe for being super popular.
I also like how all three of them are able to perceive the world differently than others. Scott can only see in shades of red. Jean can hear everybody's thoughts. Peter can experience the world in impossibly slow speeds.
There is just so much to explore between the events of Apocalypse and Dark Phoenix. What are they like in battle? How do they get together? How do they support each other? What is your version of how the Dark Phoenix saga should go down? What would any kids be like (Nathan or Rachel are both welcome)? And again, I love all sorts of AU!
