Nightwish have announced their new lead singer, Anette Olzon of Sweden. The website has photos and a bio, and an audio sample from a new song "Eva", which I presume will be on their new album, due in September.
Anette definitely has a different sound from Tarja; she admits to having no classical experience, and it shows. Her sound has more of a pop sound to it, but that's cool. I'll buy the CD and see how it goes.
