I Won
I'm now the proud owner of a WWII 1942 Ford GPW Jeep. I will be heading to NY tomorrow to collect it and pay the man. He and I spoke today and I think it's going to be great. He hates to part with it, but he has another vintage Jeep. I said I would give it a good home and think of my ownership and stewardship and keeping the history alive. There was some tension last night since I could get ahold of him and I wanted to go up today. I had trouble getting the right connector for the trailer plugs etc. But in the course of 10 minutes while I was out dropping off #3 child to ballet everything fell into place. He called and setup the time, I finally found the right plug etc.
