Last night I went to visit one of my favorite icon makers- one I loved so much that even years later I remembered its name- and found that none of the images were visible any more. Photobucket blurred them out to save on bandwidth, presumably. They were just icons but I felt a horrible emptiness when I saw it. The internet is too ephemeral. I still don't know how to deal with it.
