We're in the middle of a plumbing crisis here. Maybe not a crisis but certainly an inconvenience. We had a new garbage disposal installed in the kitchen sink. All went well with that but we wanted to replace the tub drain assembly in the bathroom while we had the plumber here. Not so well with that project; one part of the new assembly will not fit with our bathtub. This was discovered late Friday (after plumbing supply stores closed). We are therefore showerless until Monday when hopefully the replacement part can be located. Fingers crossed and clean ups with the sink till the job is done. We do come to take our conveniences for granted and miss them when there's a problem.
On a brighter note, we found out yesterday that Wendy's son and daughter in law are having twin girls! We knew about the pregnancy but not the gender nor the fact of twins. Everyone seems overjoyed. It'll be nice to have new babies (to visit!), especially in the family but someone else's responsibility. Haha!
Judging by the weather, which has taken a decided turn for the chill (frost the last two nights), I think my motorcycle season has just about come to an end. I'll wait a little longer but eventually will take out the battery and keep it on a trickle charger in the basement till next Spring.
