daily stuff
Here it is Saturday again... already! The time sure flies and I wonder just what I've been doing for the last week. I know there were a few visits to doctors/dentists for Wendy as well as her mom. While waiting, waiting, waiting in various waiting rooms I was able to make some more progress on a novel I downloaded to my cell. It's so much easier to read from the cell than to have to drag a tablet along. I do always try to travel light. :-)
As far as projects go, I've finished construction of the frame for the triptych. Just have to sand and paint now. It'll be done in a few days. Washed and polished the bike but haven't taken any rides more than a few miles; and the cooler weather of Fall is blowing in so the end of the riding season is about here. BTW my son bought his first M/C, a BMW RnineT, not to my particular taste but he likes it. Would be nice to be able to ride together except for the fact that we live over 600 miles apart. He's in NY.
Noticed a small puddle on the floor in front of the kitchen sink a couple of days ago. At first I thought I might have been sloppier than usual in rinsing and loading the dish washer. Alas, this was not the case. The garbage disposal is drip, drip, drip leaking under the sink. So part of yesterday was spent shopping for a new unit. Sigh. I remember what a pain in the ass it was to install when we redid the kitchen a couple of years ago so this time around I'm hiring a friend to do the job.
Think I'll go do some sanding on that frame now.
