The events of this past month have so far convinced me that this castle is more trouble than I would have thought it to be. It has the image of prosperity, but it has been plagued since I've arrived. There seem to be residents that have lived here for years, and trade has picked up since the last incident. I'm glad to have left during that time. The ice has been melted, yet I didn't experience the heat wave that came about because of the 'second sun'.
Lately I feel as though I've forgotten something important, but I can't place what. Eileen assured me that if it's truly important, it will come back to me, but I can't get rid of the feeling in the back of my mind.
There has been an influx of acquaintances recently. First a ninja girl I didn't recall, though, looking back, I'm certain I read her name whilst reading about my future. She's certainly from the future. Everyone I've met thus far that I have had any form of acquaintance with has not been from my own time. I tire of being addressed as 'president', though I'm growing used to it.
Closer in memory, though, is Cleo. Three years in the future, according to Eileen, and she still seems to be the same woman I last saw months ago at Toran Castle. Commander Tyr also arrived today, though he seems far more changed. It was strange speaking to him, and I cannot doubt that he's from the future with the difference in him.
Despite settling in this castle, I still wonder when we'll return home.
